Simple Bequest Language

You can add the text below to the body of your will, or include it in an additional witnessed page, or codicil, at a later date.  Please consult your attorney for further advice.

“I hereby give and bequeath [amount in dollars or percentage amount] to the Children’s Law Center of Central North Carolina, a North Carolina nonprofit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, having federal tax identification number 54-2185218, with its headquarters currently located at 102 West 3rd Street Suite 470, Winston-Salem NC 27101, for its general purposes.”

IRA Charitable Rollover Permanently Renewed

The IRA Charitable Rollover was made permanent in December of 2015. A transfer to a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization , such as CLC, may be considered your annual minimum distribution. To qualify, you must instruct

your IRA trustee or custodian to distribute the funds directly to CLC at the address below.

CLC's tax identification number is 54-2185218.  Please contact your financial planner to initiate such a gift.
