CLC Appointed To First High Conflict Custody Cases in Guilford County
In January, at the Greensboro Bar Association meeting, Executive Director Iris Sunshine announced that our Guilford County team was to begin accepting appointments to High Conflict Custody cases in March 2023.
We launched the expanded programming in late March. Feedback from the legal community in Guilford County has been extremely positive. This is an indispensable service and one that is able to assist more children who need the CLC. As of late April, we have been appointed to four High Conflict Custody cases in Guilford County.
On expanding our services, Iris says, “It is important to our organization to be able to serve the legal needs of the children in our community. We have been told for many years high conflict custody advocacy is needed. It is wonderful we are in a place now that we can begin to fill that need.”
The CLC has been serving Guilford County since 2014 in Domestic Violence Protective Order cases. We serve as a voice for children across the county. We have served over 175 children in Guilford County since 2014.
