Charitable Ways To Give this Holiday Season

1.) Cash Donation – CLC accepts cash donations online as well as by cash, check or credit card. Please go to the Donation Page and follow the steps to either donate online or mail in a donation. Recurring donation are a great way to make an impact on the organization on an ongoing basis.
2.) Gift Matching – Employers often match charitable donations of their employees. If you know your employer does have a donation patching program or if you are not sure, you can check with your company’s Human Resources Contact to find out – or ask us to do so for you.
3.) Stock Donations & IRA Distributions – Securities may be donated to charitable organizations by obtaining the nonprofit’s account information and filling out the appropriate stock donation paperwork to be sent to your brokerage. Examples of securities donations include mutual funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs), bonds, and stocks. Individuals who are 70½ years old or older may donate up to $100,000 total directly from their IRA to a charitable organization. Please consult a tax advisor for additional information.
